HEB became a sponsor in 1991. That year. For The Children served a total of 7100 children. Year in and year out, the contributions from HEB have been tremendous. For the last two years, all the area stores had scan coupons at the registers for the three weeks prior to school starting. Last year, For The Children received $50,000 from this effort. HEB also provides our monthly meeting space and provides food for our volunteers on distribution day each year.

KVUE became an FTC sponsor in 1996, when 18,000 children were served. The growth since then has been phenomenal. In addition to the excellent media coverage, KVUE also sponsors a TV remote with Rudy’s Barbeque that has been very successful. Please follow this link to experience distribution day.
