Gayner Property Management Company joined with For The Children for the 2nd year to provide supplies for Pleasant Hill Elementary , a total of 940 students.

"I was a single parent of three wonderful children. As their sole support, I often worked several jobs to make ends meet. The kids and I mowed lawns in our neighborhood and cleaned offices at night and on the weekends. My kids received free school supplies as well as free breakfast and lunch at school. I always told God if I was ever in a position to give back I would every chance I got. We have been blessed with the success of Gayner Property Management Company for the last 24 years. I have been contributing to For the Children for many years. When I got the letter about the Crayon Club I called on it immediately. We are PROUD to sponsor a school each year and HAPPY for the opportunity to do so. It spoke to my heart. I know first hand how a parent feels sending their child to school without the necessary school supplies. It is so hard on a parent to know they can't afford this basic need for their children. The children suffer as well from the embarrassment of not having even a pencil or paper on the first day of school. I encourage anyone who can to sponsor a school or to donate to For The Children. I was so impressed when I read the 100% of the donations go DIRECTLY to school supplies. This is a TERRIFIC group of caring of volunteers who do a labor of love. We are all blessed to have them especially the CHILDREN."
